Professional services Our solicitors are Bridge McFarland in Grimsby. We have found the personal service and support of one of the partners, Robert Edwards, has been outstanding over the years. Our accountants are Lawrence Grant, based in Stanmore, NW London. Through their partner Paul Levy they have provided consistent and high-integrity professional advice and support from the beginning of our business. Training and development resources In the course of our work we use some outstanding business simulations on business finance, strategy, process management and customer focus designed by ProfitAbility Ltd. For a wealth of strong, academic reading and research, available for downloading from the web, we make extensive use of the resources available from Harvard Business School Publishing, including articles from the Harvard Business Review. We have found the service provided by Progressive Training Resources, based in Eastcote, north-west London very helpful. They carry in stock films, exercises and a whole host of learning, training and development resources from a wide range of publishers, and provide facilities for clients to view - and buy - them through this excellent "one-stop shop". Practical exercises and other resources to include in training designs can be obtained from Management Learning Resources. The vast range of training materials - exercises, questionnaires and literature - on a wide range of personal and interpersonal topics we can source through Pfeiffer has helped us with many learning designs. For materials to support learning about the learning process and developing Learning Organisations we have found materials published by Peter Honey both theoretically sound and practically useful to our clients. As a source of books on business (and much more), including hard-to-obtain and out of print titles, Amazon.co.uk (in the UK) or Amazon.com (US) provide us with excellent service. We use material on Transformational Leadership and Change Management developed by W. Warner Burke, and now available from PWC in New York. This website was carefully designed to meet our objectives by people with a friendly approach at Rede Design, who offer a wide range of website, graphic design and print services. Office and computer services For computer equipment, software and supplies we have made much use of the excellent, fast service provided by Action Computer Supplies. Our internet services are provided by CompuServe, largely due to their excellent international network which has given us reliable local access numbers in many parts of the world. We have good experiences of buying PCs through Dell (of whom most people have heard) and DAN Technology (of whom many have not). Both have given good service support to us when we've needed it. We often need to ship training materials for courses and workshops to remote parts of the world. In doing this we have invariably used DHL International and found them both fast and reliable. We have consistently good experience of Viking Direct as a source of competitively-priced stationery delivered promptly and at reasonable cost. Our web address was obtained through onestopnames, who also host this site for us, and who provide helpful technical advice and support when we need it.
